Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Fished Bass Lake Mon-Wed last week and again on saturday afternoon. Took thursday and friday off to go snowboarding at Badger Pass in Yosemite National Park. Had a blast!
Caught one spotted bass on monday on salt/pepper worm. Spent most of afternoon just checking out the lake as it was my first time there.
5 spots each on tuesday and wednesday all on craw patterned fat rap in 10-20 ft of water cranking bait down to and hitting the submerged fallen tree limbs and killing it would produce strikes.
1 largemouth bass on saturday on fat rap.
All fish between 2-3.5 lbs. and sturdy fat.
Also caught a few crazy trout that hit the fat rap.
Saw 4 20-30lb catfish hanging out in 10 feet of water by some boulders. Couldn't get them to bite.
Great little lake, I will go back.
