Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Another rough day on the water for me, and my partner. We launched at 7 am, and fished hard until 4 pm, and had 4 bites between us. I caught the first one around 10 am on a shad colored baby slug-o rigged carolina, in about 20 feet of water in the "slalom" cove, about half way back on a small point. I had my second bite about 10 minutes later and missed it. I caught my second fish about 1:30, up the fishing arm, on a 3" green weenie, split shotting in about 15 feet. My partner finally got bit about 2:30 on a smoke/blue grub in about 12 feet of water, while dragging it over a muddy point. All of our fish were in the 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 lb. range. The water was 56 when we got on and 59 when we got off. We found lots of fish cruising the backs of the coves, some real big hens too, but couldn't get them to bite anything. Some coves were as high as 63 degrees! I'll be back.
