Date Fished: 3/31/2003 Water Temperature: 78 Yesterday I had a 3 boat trip on the Lake with Bryan Kurshaw with his Dad Ed & Friends. We decided to fish the Southend using all artificial, the majority of the bass were caught on various Gambler Baits, such as Flappin Shads, Jummin' Shads, Studs, Swacky worms and few on Sankos & Flukes, color didn't matter. We fished mostly Pelican Bay, Bay Bottom, and Grassy. Between the 3 boats we caught over 70 Bass the largest being 4.5 lb. The Lake has been producing a good quantity of bass on every trip with a few good size bass included. The "Big O" is a good choice right now for some good top water action, also The Everglades is coming back strong and the water is dropping and the bass are starting to move in to the canals.
