Subject: Swan Falls (above the dam), Idaho

Water Clarity: 1 foot Fished Swan Falls for about 3 hours before a thunderstorm hit. Caught several 1 lb. to 1.5 smallies. Caught a big 3 pounder right next to the birds of prey dock on the first cast. I probably caught 20 fish in those 3 hours. They seem to be next to reeds and underwater plants but not in the sand. Look for rock and reed combos just off shore and fish them hard. Use a little bit of everything. Used grubs and white spinnerbaits.
