Water Clarity: 1 foot Went and fished the big lake yesterday with my boat, I was kind of worried about the blustoning that they did, the lake was blue but the water clarity wasen't all that bad. Went with the intentions of finding the shad, tried to buy crawdads, but the gas station was out so I picked up some anchovies, not really my type of fishing but I was really tired and that gives me something to throw out while I kick back and relax. Found the shad but they were small. bass fry everywhere, went driving around seeing if the motor was running right(that was the main reason for this trip) and it was good. Saw a bunch of boats parked fishing for Stripers so I stopped. They were doing really good, just flylining pieces of anchovies in 100 feet of water. Fish were from 4 15lbs, didn't have the right gear for this type of fishing and got spooled 5 times from fish diving deep and breaking me off on 6lb test. Didn't even get a chance to fish for largemouth but i'll be back in a couple weeks when the big shad come up........Warren
