Took the family up to my aunt house at Lake of the Ozarks. What a trip went through Fayetteville to visit grandparents beautiful country. I have a 7 year old a 4 year old and a 9 month old all girls so the trip was from Collierville was a long one. However the fishing was great. My 4 year old could not put the pole down she had a blast. I know this is a bass fishing board but she primarily caught bream. She would cast he scooby pole out with a single slip shot weight and a night crawler and reel in it in real slow I bet she caught a hundred bream. But on one cast she said I can not real it in I told her she could do anything just keep reeling. I ended having to hold the pole up right but when she got it to the dock she had a 3.2 pound bass on. I got her picture as soon as I get the film developed I will post picture.

I did do a little fishing myself after I got the kids to bed. The best night I had was proably Friday night after the Hail storm never seen anything like that before. I was fishing boat docks I have no idea where I was we go through Rock Mount and her house is not in a cove but on the main water I believe right before you get into the Gravois Arm. Anyway I found a dock that was like a Jungle this guy must have put every christmas tree for the last 50 years around his dock. I probably caught 20 between 1.5 and 3 pounds lost a couple no big ones though. All fish caught on a zoom watermelon lizard and a black jig no trailer. I left that spot and hit several other boat docks catching a few more anytime I would hit something I would just let it sit for a second as soon as I started to reel they would hit it.

I did no bass fishing during the day water to rough my mom and wife proably caught 30 catfish all around 2 to 4 pounds just about right to eat. My mom did catch two buffalo probably 10 pounds a piece.

When the rain came in on friday we were fishing around the wells in the boat house and my wife caught a 2lb bass and I believe she caught 15 inch walleye. Is there walleye in tis lake.

Look forward to my trip back up next year would love to hook up with someone and fish a night tournament while I was their.
