Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Tubed the Lagoon (is it my last time?) thursday morn...beautiful, calm, full moon setting...TONS of grass to get tangled in. Worked a buzzbait in the spaces between the grass (7 out of ten casts got hung on grass) but got 2 nice fish...a 3.5lb and a 4.2lb'er. Lost another one who took me deep in the grass...just could not get that fish up...broke 12lb test trying to pull it up! Very tough to work the buzzer or any other lures for that matter, senko's, assasins, blades, drop shot...all hung up. Don't even think of anything with trebles. Tried a weightless roboworm (tough on baitcasting gear) letting it settle...twich,twich...nothing. Then pitched an unweighted 4" pumkinseed senko into a dark pocket that looked good (water is VERY clear)... and got crushed...pulled out a 8.4lb'er, my best out of there. Then it got windy.
All 3 fish were picture perfect. Sure glad their closing it.
