Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater In short.....What an over hyped piece of crap. I hope the people that got to pre fish the lake prior to opening enjoyed it because I dont see it ever getting back to that type of fishing. After 9 HARD hours of fishing I left catching and releasing only 2 3-4lbers. My friend did manage 4 fish with his personal best 6 lbs, but overall what a lot of work for nothing.We did meter a lot of fish but couldn't get any of them to bite. I'm not really sure what kind of fish they were, but they were suspended at all different depths.Hopefully once the initial rush gets over with the lake will settle back into some good fishing. Thanks but no thanks for now, I'll drive to Silverwood or Castaic next time.
Practice catch and release on ALL bass.
