Water Clarity: 2-3 feet well boys had a great day on the old river!! I looked in several
places main river, mouth of creeks and in the back of pockets.
Found a good group of largemouth in the back of pockets holding in the
grass. The fish seemed to be in the small pockets of grass not the large areas of grass. I tried swimming a jig with no luck, then pitching a finese worm in the grass no luck but I did seem to find a strong bite on grass frogs. I found the swimming frog made by netbait company it has great action in the grass and the largemouth just could not stand it. Does anyone know about a tournment this weekend going on in the river? Because I think a can cash in possible
had about 20lbs of fish today.
