The lake level is 165.85 ft msl a little over 6 ft. below high pool (172ft). Water temperatures are running in the upper 60s to low 70s. The very north end of the lake is stained to clear and clear mid-lake and south. SRA is not generating. Caution should be used running certain boat lanes because of low water conditions.

The Black Bass are ganging up along the deep creek channel shelf and ledges. Soft plastics are working best on Texas or Carolina rigs. Baby brush hogs and 6? lizards in watermelon producing some good numbers. The bigger fish have been harder to come by.

The Crappie and Yellow bass are stacking up over brush tops along the main lake river channel drops in 16 to 24 ft of water; good numbers and big stringers. The bite is getting better everyday as the water temperature continues to fall. The bite has been better early morning and slowing in the afternoon unless we have cloud cover. Shiners seem to be producing better than jigs. Looks like we are going to have a banner season on the Crappie if the lake remains stable.

The White Bass are also starting to group up on the main lake river channel sand bars with some good stringers and large fish being caught. Slab spoons and Rinky Dink tail spinners working best.
