Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Not a bad day for the end of November. Boy was there alot of boats out here today. I was ultra light fishing with small jigs and trying out a drop shot rig for panfish. I had a good day and so did my dad. We caught many perch not as many as on 11/01 but still a very good amount. They were caught on 1/16oz lead heads with Chartreuse sparkle Lunker city fin-s shad 1.5in casting and retrieving slow, the bulk of them came on a yellow and chartreuse 1.5in tube jig on a #6 Owner bait holder hook tied about 8 inches above a Owner 1/16oz drop shot weight. No real retrieve just a good lift and shake. I also caught a 2lb largemouth bass on the Fin-S Shad, and a nice 20in Pickerel on a Team Dawia 3in minnow in fire tiger pattern. My father caught a nice mess of perch on the drop shot rig and a nicer largemouth on a Kalins grub 3in smoke on a 1/8oz head. I had a huge largemouth grab one of my perch but I pulled the fish away to fast. He was at least 5lbs, maybe the water made him look bigger but he was nice. Brian R Brennan
