After reading Freddie's post, I decided to hit the upper lake and try my luck. I haven't been on the lake since December, mainly fishing the Cooper River. It turned out to be a very successfull day. Even though I didn't get any bites on a crankbait, I did have success on a texas rig worm in 8 to 10 feet of water. I landed 3 of the 4 bass with one getting off when I tried to swing the fish into the boat. The largest bass went 5.4lbs on the scales and the rest went around the pound and a half mark. Not a great total weight, but had fun in such cold water conditions. Thanks Fred for your post, will be hitting the lake more as the month goes on. Glenn
