SUBJECT: Morgan Falls/Bull Sluice

Looking for general information on Morgan Falls/Bull Sluice
I drove down Morgan Falls road, and found an old launch ramp about 1/2 mile downstream from a dam...is that where people are launching to fish Morgan Falls...sure looks awfully shallow and much too much like a river...
However, it does look like if you drift down a mile or so, it might slow down into a lake...
Just trying to figure out where exactly Morgan Falls lake is and the ability to bass fish there. Heard there are some little bass in there, and its close to home.

The lake is above the dam you were at. If you go north up Roswell rd. and take the left after you cross the river (I'm not sure of the name of the road) you will see a small ramp after you pass a small park. If you have a small aluminum boat there is really good fishing there below the dam for stripe in the summer and green bass most of the year.I lived in that area in the late 80's and early 90's and that is how I remember it anyway. I hope things havent changed to much and this will help you out.

Had:I appreciate the info...I know the park and road and launch ramp your are describing...I think the road is called: Azalea.
That would make sense that the lake is actually above the dam I was looking at. Its strange how little information there is on the place, and the SouthernCo is useless for REAL information on their water...when it comes to recreation.
