SUBJECT: solicitation by guides

It appears the majority of the reports are bass guide solicitations! I don't know if this was the original intent of this web site! It certainly was not in the past! Looking @ other states postings, the bass guide solicitation is much less! Does anyone know of a good "common people" fishing report in Alabama! Thanx

Me and a friend went Wednesday the 25 of January. We found some water that was not as muddy. Caught 19 or 20 Largemouth in about 4 to 6 foot water on crank baits and a few on jigs. We did look on the main channel but the water was being let threw the dam at about 125 cfs and it was just too swift for us. He also told me the reason we didnt catch any more than we did was because all these guided trips that catching over 100 a day had gave most of them the sore mouth
