I have bought flies online with mixed results. In fact I bought some from a site that had been in business for over 10 years and happened to be at the top of the major search engines. Expecting quality I ended up a bit disapointed. Being a sucker for punishment and a dot com junkie, I tried another site ( flydealflies.com )(FlyDeal) only because the price $.58 a fly was too tempting. Not expecting much, I found the quality outstanding! Now, I'm looking for for an online source for Rio florocarbon leader. I was told that you can buy the 4x to 7x in the 100 yard spools, but can't seem to find it in the local shops. Any ideas. Once again a dot com junkie.

   All our flies are Made in America. We offer proven patterns, flies that we use ourselves (by fishermen for fishermen).

   As for lines, even I wouldn't buy a line online (no pun intended) unless I knew exactly the model I wanted. Too much hassel and cost to return it.
