Hey ST,
We will be down there on that weekend also. Do you have marine band? If so, want to share hot-cold info/cold beers?
Also, have you ever fished the east shore there across from Fin Feather? It looks like it should be good wading bottom.
Drop me a line...

Fresh2Salt from TEXAS says March trip
I don't mean to intrude but I can't sit back and listen to talk about
fishing the Aransas Pass area and not speak up. I too enjoy beer and fishing, and fishing and beer.
I have never fished that area across of the Fin and Feather. I fished the protected side of St. Joe around
Allyn's Bight and saw a ton of bait and some crystal clear water. While we were there the winds were howling
but I would love to be back at that place when the winds were calm and the sun was warming up the flats.

Salty Techsan from TEXAS says Aggieangler.........................March.
Aggie,
Good to hear from you. We'll be down in AP on the 23rd and 24th of this month. Is that the weekend you will be down??? No Marine band radio here, never used the one on my old boat, so I held off on this one, with cell phones and all. Anyway, Is this the right weekend? If so, I'm definately up for exchanging some reports when on the water, two boats are definately better than one. Let me know.

ST,
We will be down there on the same weekend, so lets try and set up some communication. Cell phones could work for us too. I am not sure what boat we will be in, hopefully my good friend's Pathfinder.
Email me and let me know your email, so that we can set up the cellphone list!
More later,

Salty Techsan from TEXAS says sounds like a plan to me............
when you say across from fin n feather, you mean across the causeway??or just straight out from the pier??? If you're talking about the south side of the causeway, directly out from f n f, yea, that is a nice looking area. I've come in from all day grinds with not much to show and seen guys wading that area w/o a boat that came in with a lot heavier stringers than I. I really like almost all the shallows that line the parimeter of Redfish bay. Lots of pretty water.
We'll be buzzin' around in a black/white Majek 20v. I'll drop you an email with some details.
