SUBJECT: # 2769: Tying tandem fly rigs.

Submitted by James (68.206.34.220) from TEXAS on 9/11/04 3:05:00 PM

Flounder will soon start to run. Is there anyone that has information on tying tandem fly rigs? I've tried my own method but it is a total Cluster!!

The only info I can remember is in Lefty Kreh and Mark Sosin's Knot book. I loaned my copy and you know what happens next, never to be seen again. Sorry I couldn't be more help, Snuffy (Sentenced to 3 yrs in Kingsville)

Do you mean the tandem "schoolie" fly pattern?

Or rigging two flies together on one leader?

Does anyone have any info. on tying two flies on one leader? Something like, the tandem riggs used for plastics when fishing for flounder and specks.
