Carney said Friday that Issa's comment showed the contempt citation was about politics.
"Remarkably, the chairman of the committee involved here has asserted that he has no evidence that the attorney general knew of operation Fast and Furious or did anything but take the right action when he learned of it. No evidence," Carney said. "So if you have no evidence, as he's stated now about the White House and the attorney general, what else could this be than politics?"

November will have to be good enough. He has been a historic Attorney General. Maybe if Holder had been shot instead of a mere border agent tasked with an impossible task Obama would have achieved his goal of more restrictions on guns.

Now it's about why Holder submitted a fradulent letter claiming he knew nothing, but then retracted that and said HE DID KNOW ABOUT IT. Now the committee wants to know why. Obama's stunt of issuing EP now pulls him into the picture. What's being covered up...that is what the committee wants to find out.
Of course Holder knew about Fast and Furious. He admitted it (after he lied about it). J. Carney is a White House hack. What did you expect him to say?
