SUBJECT: Things aren't going to get better

Submitted by dshadoin from LOUISIANA on

until we stop pretending they will get better if half the people give more and understand that it will take everyone doing more.

Can you find me anywhere in history that having the best-paid poor people has created a successful society? I can find show you hundreds of examples where the hardest working people have led to success for everyone.

  1. MikeF from FLORIDA says duh
    double duh

obama is a dismal failure and does not have the skills and understanding necessary to fix our problems.

  2. RJR from MISSOURI says it is amazing
that anyone that is not on welfare would support Obama. But they sure are doing a good job deflecting away from the real the issue, IT IS THE ECONOMY STUPID!

  3. Rusticus from MASSACHUSETTS says Today, In Elk Grove Illinois, Mr. Rmoney spoke to
the employees at Acme Industries telling them that the current economic policies are not working and that they should vote for him.

Meanwhile, back in the offices, CEO Warren Young told reporters that sales this year are up 80% and he's had to hire more workers to fill orders.

Maybe Acme Industries makes things for Wilie Coyote and the Road Runner. What do you guys think?

  4. hvacstar from NORTH CAROLINA says Romney. Wylie. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
    Brad CANNOT SPELL....

  5. Rusticus from MASSACHUSETTS says first is on purpose (rmoney)
    Wile E. Coyote is correct.

I can see you have a man crush on Brad also. Have you told your priest yet?

Factoid: In 1758 the British dispatched a 50 gun warship to New England in order to enforce the Crowns' right of taxation over the rebel colonies. The name of that ship was HMS Romney.

  6. MikeF from FLORIDA says then would it be dismalbama
or abjectfailure-barack or runinedmyeconomysoetoro or hidemypasthistory-barry

your community organizer has organized the longest running recession in current history and managed to piss away $6T; he could not have done a worse job if he tried

if you're attacking Romney you might want to move to a more defensible position; fort obama doesn't look like it's in very good shape. The only chance the fort has to hold is to rally the serfs.

  7. Publius #10953 from MARYLAND says How ironic...
the ships name is Romney...and Acme Industries is a smoldering ember (250 employees) out of the total distruction of the American manufacturing base. An ember that may well be doused when Obama raises taxes on $250K and up income. Wonder why they're hosting Romney?

  8. hvacstar from NORTH CAROLINA says Romney. "Dr. Syn: the Scarecrow of Romney Marsh"
Walt Disney. 1963. 3 part mini-series. Starring Patrick McGoohan, in a fantastic performance as the "Scarecrow".

An excellent example of why the World of Disney was indeed, wonderful. I remember being glued to the tube on Sunday nights watching this. McGoohan's voice and laugh used in his portrayal of the Scarecrow was mesmerizing.

Dr. Syn, the Scarecrow of Romney Marsh. Good guy and hero. Kinda like Mitt Romney.

You can watch the episodes on YouTube. I did so a few months ago.

  9. JacKFish56 ( from NEW JERSEY says HMS Romney...........really Rusty
Try doing a search on the name of "Frank Marshall Davis" and see which of the two candidate's names comes up.

  10. Rusticus from MASSACHUSETTS says good guy and hero, puleeeeze.
when did Mitt become a hero? Was it while he was in France being a missionary instead of being a fine, patriotic American son and enlisting in the service in order to serve in VietNam?

You are right though, he's more of a cartoon character than a real person.

Did you know that during his term as gov, his healthcare mandate actually gave people healthcare paid for by tax dollars? Would that make him a hero to you?

Mitt, Newt and Santorum walk into a bar...................

which one gets to show his good conduct ribbon to the barmaid?

  11. RJR from MISSOURI says while Obama was smoking crack on the streets?
moron. Read Obama's books dumb buttttttt.

  12. Rusticus from MASSACHUSETTS says read rmoneys' book
you and Dan A can help each other out with the 5 letter words.

  13. MikeF from FLORIDA says read this
obama has failed, an empty chair would have done a better job.

  14. Publius #10953 from MARYLAND says Massachusetts health care...
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." 10th ammendment, Bill of Rights. While you guys are READING stuff, try that...

  15. Ereich ( from MAINE says Mr Obama, Mr Obama, a question
while you were posing as a foreign exchange student at Occidental and Columbia were you registered for the draft?

Registering for the draft was a BIG deal at the time. It was new and controversial and certainly for a good red diaper Marxist like Barry Soetoro a vexing decision rather than a formality.
