SUBJECT: Answer to rick on verado vs xs

Rick, per the test reports i saw in the bass & walleye mag. which i believe to be fairly accurate, the verado appeared to be slower. the report used the bassmaster classic boat and i believe top speed was 71+ and the gas mileage was worse at wot (2.1) than my xb250. being from east tenn, i run bullets. you have to remember, i do not care how fast a boat hull is, weight is the critical issue. that new motor weighs 600+ lbs. you put 50 gal gas @8 lb per, three batteries, you get the picture.
