SUBJECT: TX-19 with Evinrude 225 HO or 200 HO

I am going to be changing out the engine on my boat. currently running Merc 200 carb. I have the chance to get a very good deal on the Evinrude in the box. The reason for the change is the problem I have with getting up. I need more torque out of the hole not more speed. I can get a very good price on the 250hp I was told this is the same as the motor on the 225 HO. I am not setting up for top end but to get up and have a max of around 75. I don't carry anyone in my bot except family and have never been stopped or checked by anyone. I am just going to change the decals and I don't carry insurance on my boat.
