SUBJECT: new tr19x planing?

i am new to high performance bass boats and i picked up my new tr19x with a 150hp yamaha 4 stroke today. put it in the water and i cannot get the boat on plane to save my life.
i am so bummed out right now!
i tried starting out with the motor trimmed all the way down and gradually trimmed up as i gained speed but the front end just stands up in the air!
tried leaving it trimmed down till it cavitates and then trim up and it still just stands up in the air.
what could i be doing wrong?
maybe its the motor setup?

help please!

What RPM are you getting? Which Prop? The 150 is very small for that boat. Rich

What prop do you have on there old buddy, we have sold several four strokesn and you have to drop back in sizes on that prop to get that boat on plane. I would think maybe a 19 or 20 pitch would be about right. Rodney

I am with Rodney on this one. You need a smaller prop and possibly a 4blade prop.
