SUBJECT: Trolling Motor Recommendations

I am ordering a new Triton and was wondering what everyone's recommendations were between a MinnKota Maxum with 74 pound thrust and a MotorGuide Tournament Edition with 82 pound thrust.

I have a 2001 Tr20 PDC with a Motorguide 82 Lb. It is a pile of junk. I wish I would have bought a MinnKota. Some of my fellow club members own MinnKotas and they are great.
