SUBJECT: Glacier Bay - Merc Optimax??

I'm trying to get some performance history of 150HP Merc Optimax on a Glacier Bay Canyon Runner 260. I've never even seen one equipped with Mercs but I've located one and would appreciate any feedback on expected performance.
Short of that I'll take comments on comparing Merc Optimax motors to Yamaha HPDI or EFI motors...my main concern is economy and I haven't located a 26' GB with any four strokes except 130 HP hondas (not enough power in my opinion) and the Suzuki 140 HP.

Try calling Ed Bailey at Coral Bay Marina (http://www.coralbaymarina.com/)252-247-6900. He was the NC dealer until a year or so ago, and the Mercury was his favorite engine.
