Up-Tick Rule.

 Sitting here wondering why the new geniuses at the SEC don't grow a set and re institute the Up-Tick Rule. It seems like the perfect political move to save the markets before the whole country is broke and IT WOULDN'T COST A DIME.

There was no good reason to do away with the rule in the first place. The markets have gone straight down since they did away with it. And look at the bright side, this bunch can blame all the bad stuff on the last administration.

   I filled a complaint with the SEC, against the SEC, from Starboard  3/2/2009 2:02:37 PM
 essentially stating the above.

Currents markets demand a return of the Up-Tick rule.

 Today I hear that Barney Frankfurter and Christopher Dodd think the ruturn of the rule is a great idea.

 The SEC will likely reinstate the Uptick Rule but studies have already shown it won't make a bit of difference to the market. Maybe give the market a temporary psychological kick but that won't last but a day or two at best.

Doing away with the uptick rule cannot be blamed for the market going down. Actually, it has nothing to do with it. As I said, the affect of the rule, doesn't amount to a hill of beans.
