SUBJECT: New World Record LMB IGFA M-Junior Division Tops Adult Records of 45 States, Demolishes the previous world record

Submitted by Number1 from CALIFORNIA on

Before you read this you should know Cody Pierce is only 14-years-old and he caught the lunker on the way to school! Cody Pierce's LMB has officially broken the IGFA World record in the M-Junior Division. "Cody's fish" even surpasses the Adult State Records of about 45 states! (There are no Alaskan LMB.) Cody's Pierce's catch has increased that world record by merely 83%! Cody said this is the second time he has actually broken this record. He didn't know how to document his first catch, but he was ready to document this one. I am sure we will be hearing more of the name, Cody Pierce, in the future.

To understand the enormity of this, if someone broke the adult world record by 83% that LMB would have to be well over 40lbs. Mathematically speaking, we all know it isn't going to happen and neither will another LMB world record ever fall by such a huge margin, period. She's a beauty and everyone should note what he did with "his fish" after weighing and measuring. Post a message and tell us what you think of a kid pulling that off!

I'd like to be the first in line to congratulate that young man on an unbelievable catch and for representing our sport so well. You saw it here first (picture too), here are the links to the story, gather your friends and family around to see this one as the story broke: http://www.uniontrib.com/news/utarchives/cgi/idoc.cgi?560396+unix++www.uniontrib.com..80+Union-Tribune+Union-Tribune+Library+Library++%28cody

the followup story: http://www.uniontrib.com/news/utarchives/cgi/idoc.cgi?560396+unix++www.uniontrib.com..80+Union-Tribune+Union-Tribune+Library+Library++%28cody

This is Eanglers version and the only picture I've seen of it (now posted on this site too) on the web so far: http://www1.eangler.com/articles/content/860/page3.asp

Bass regards to all,

Number1
