 I have no idea what reasoning either party had on this particular vote for the record. But it is all just politics as usual to set up claims for the next campaign. Posting a bill in either chamber would make no difference to the public because when the bills are merged in conference committee, they can be and sometimes are changed dramatically in conference. So this topic is all heat and no light. Only the final bill emerging from conference matters in the end. Larry
