Years ago in one particular Cosmetic Company we had a boss and two complete idiots sons. Well each day was a hoot unless you were the Production Manager, the Warehouse manager etc. So we started the "Quote of the day".. this was usually the most stupid remark made by someone and we kept a secret list of them..
Like one day the one son filled an order for a customer for a couple of thousand GLASS bottles to be run on our AUTOMATIC FILLING MACHINES. These machines took the plastic bottles and by jets of air blowing turned them into the right position and then dropped them into spinning steel template disks that went into steel nozzles for filling.. Each was 4 to 16 oz and things were great because they were lightweight, non breakable plastic...
Now throw in a couple of thousand glass 32 oz bottles and not tell the Production manager, the mechanic or the warehouse and you had instant chaos. So the intelligent son said for the "Quote of the day",, "I am the bosses son and head salesman.. you run what I sell." Of course this was one of the best SNAFUS every in the history of the company.
Today the man in the White House issued the following statement.. I think it has to be today's "Quote of the Day."
As if hoping to avoid the outcome, the White House issued a statement after the GOP win in Virginia saying "The president was not watching election returns and would not be making any remarks on the results". Sure...
It just doesn't get any better than that. Got to love the guy. Cosmic>

Thanks for the inquiery... got to this one level that they are throwing everything in the world against me.. I played and played and got killed in about 30 seconds each time.. On top of that the wife made up this BEAN soup,,,, oh my!!!
Called my best friend Gomez over to share the farts with me.. I think it brought her back to the days when she was a pup in the whelping box with her 12 brothers and sisters and fat mama all farting and stepping on each other. She curled right up and went into a deep sleep.. the wife locked herself in the bed room and said do not come to bed... that was some mean bean soup... can't wait until tonight... soup always tastes better the second day.. Poor Gomez, hope she lives.
I guess I should have taken more Meds before reading the Fox news report how the man stumped for the candidates, flew in, shook hands, gave speeches and then when they lost to Republicans just blew it off saying he does not care about VA and NJ and doesn't follow the news.. I use to be from NJ so it was kinda a home type thing... then the 40 years of working with people like him kinda got to me... you know the "Quote of the Day"... Kinda like when he called the Cop stupid for responding to a call of 2 men breaking into a house. That should be added to the list.. or Mrs.Pelosi when she did that tear jerk thing about how she couldn't believe the Nazi housewives in the streets protesting.. I mean she saw that in the 70's and it really is scary.
Good news is I will spring for some big bucks and buy a new game for Christmas.. (am I allowed to use that word?).. Anyway for the "Holidays" I will break down and spend about $60 bucks for one new game.. That should keep me off of Fox news.. Also I hope they come out with some new movies like "We were Hero's" or Saving Privet Ryan" so I can feel that American spirit once again.

cos a lot of the things you say makes sense, maybe a little stronger than i would express my self. i said before i do not agree with every thing this president does, now i have just found out if this health care plan go into law in it entirely that your tax money will be used for abortion and no doctor or hospital may refuse or they will be forced into court. this is sin and a shame as i see it. beans are good
