SUBJECT: javelin set up

1998 javelin 409b,98 venom 200,6' plate,25 renegade. any suggestions on proper engine height and such. what should i expect in performance? seems now to be about 64 mph gps with 25 psi. at 56-5700 rpm. thanks for any thoughts

If I'm not mistaken your rig is rated for a 225 and really needs one. Based on your rpm's you are only off 1-200 and that can easily be due to the current heat and humidity. You could pick your speed up by going to a 3 blade but those would definitely have to be worked to carry your rig. Also based on your WP it looks like you may have some room to move your motor up----that will help with rpm's and speed if the prop continues to lift good. www.bogerprops.com ®
