SUBJECT: Salmon Fishing Lures

Hey guys... Anyone still around?
I'm booking a charter on the Great Lakes here, and talked to the captain about bringing my own tackle. I did some looking on-line and am considering the following stuff -
http://nwfish.com/shopping.htm - Those things are a little pricey for my taste, but I was curious if anyone has ever used 'light' products before. Are they a gimmick, or do they actually work?
http://www.raindancelures.com/ - Spoons are a classic and those looked pretty good... but is anyone really using them anymore? Seems like everyone is still hyped up on swim baits and crank baits, with the occasional fly thrown in. Suggestions for colors?
http://www.willylures.com/ - Those guys have some weird looking spoons. The main one they have is suppose to run like a crank bait (how weird is that!). They got some others that are nice too and not priced too bad.
I've also heard that guys are using Dipsy Divers out there to get their lures way down deep. Has anyone used one before? Got any suggestions on what to attach to that thing?
Any suggestions would be great, as this trip is costing me a fortune... but's going to be worth every penny! hahahah
