Put the prop back on from Cuejockey  7/13/2012 7:55:56 PM

If you got current going into the motor and it doesnt spin, there must be a broken wire to the windings or it is locked up..Does the prop spin by hand? Corrosion on the magnets?

Take it to Greene's in Spindale...they will fix it.

Remove the prop... from Gridleak  7/14/2012 10:36:58 AM

Clean the fishing line and or dried moss from around the spindle beneath the prop. Make sure it spins freely.

Reinstall the prop.

I often have to clean my spindle. I'm guessin that's why it is put on there with a wing nut.

Spots did not want to know about frequency of "spindle cleaning", much less a nut description.
