Thinking about the Texas shore. I went to see Glen last night. Dood can still pick it at 76. They had to lead him on and off the stage though. Thinking about the Texas shore. I went to see Glen last night. Dood can still pick it at 76. They had to lead him on and off the stage though.

He has Alsheimers and if I misspelled it I tried my best. It is the disease from hell and he is on his farewell tour and that is why.

I'll be bringing a stereo so's we can listen to something besides old guys farting and belching. If you have any favorites you want to share be sure to remember to put them in your bags. CD's that is..... I know some of you pack rats probably still listen to 8 track.

Yep I knew about his illness long before I bought these tickets.. from Wackoman  7/16/2012 12:48:36 PM
I am a huge fan. Gentle On My Mind is the best song ever written IMHO. He opened with it.

His kids play with him and the lyrics are on teleprompters. Still like I said I was glad to see him live one last time. My grandmother died from Alzheimer's. I guess I will too.

I sat though Kenny Rogers act again. He is not my favorite but it was part of the show.

  Please google these three "things".

Omega 3 fatty acids

Choline

Uridine

It may be grasping for straws, but I take all 3. I get my uridine with tomatoes and.... beer. Really.

I have read if a parent gets Alz in late life, there is only a 10% chance the kids will get it. Late life is the key phrase. Not sure i believe it though, I have seen to many families which many have it. ??

There are some interesting theories on medium-chain triglycerides and Alzheimer's.

3 of my Dad's siblings have had Alzeimer's........kind of scary for me.

Do you suppose any of the substances he took from Hoot  7/17/2012 8:40:30 AM
during his career have anything to do with the onset of Alzheimers?...

The Rhinestone Cowboy burnt the candle at both ends for a lot of years it's amazing he made it to 76 and having a farewell concert...

P.S. John Hartford(the banjo player who was on his TV show) wrote Gentle on My Mind Glen recorded it
