SUBJECT: # 1841: One more and I'll quit.........

Submitted by Wannabe (209.149.145.162) from MISSISSIPPI on 10/26/1999 10:17:00 AM

Unless I get a really good idea or I find it necessary to defend myself.

I'm disappointed in each and everyone of you guys. I thought by winning the Rally, I'd become the local (Non-fishing board) hero. There were only 3 of us guys there: Me, Tmike and NealE. Mha doesn't count cause everyone knows he's a personna I just made up, kind of like Swampy likes to do. Don't you find it ironic that the Rally was won by a guy from the Non-fishing page? Where's my 3 cheers? Where's my ride hoisted on your shoulders? Where's my ticker tape parade?

I'm not feeling the love I should. Come on give it up. This should be tear jerker/Lifetime movie type material. A come from behind victory, local boy makes good, against all odds, in the face of adversity. It's got everything. Comic relief from Tmike. A villain in Mha. Strong character performance by Cowboy. I mean, this would make you cry more than that movie Rudy.

Wannabe.....heralded

  6. 10/26/1999 10:46:00 AM Submitted by Steven Spielberg (128.227.84.49) from CALIFORNIA says I'm seeing a four hour documentary here...
Lets talk about the rights to this ASAP. I'm visualizing a blockbuster on the order of Schindlers List. What do you think about David Ogden Stiers for the lead. Is he too good looking to be credible? I'm thinking Tommie Lee Jones for Triton Mike but I'm having trouble figuring out who to get for the Elton the scuba-diver that attached the fish to your Bandit? We'll make Elton your love interest who blows the whistle to the Tournament director when he finds out you've been cheating with yourself? Whaddayathink?
  7. 10/26/1999 10:57:00 AM Submitted by Stan Lee (152.163.197.76) from KANSAS says 3 cheers for wannabe......
