Report: Hopped aboard a very crowded Helen H for a One Day George's Cod trip. The morning bite was extremely intense with fishing resembling an old time Ling trip on the Paramount. Took a beating in big swells, but made for easy jigging and retrieve. However, the cooler took a beating and had to be lashed fast twice. Fishing slowed down around noon, with a last stop comeback. More than enough fish by 10:00 a.m. All fish were "markets"..no Whale Cod. All caught on Jigs. A large Porbeagle was also boated and lashed to the stern. A $10 fuel surcharge was applied at the last minute.
