Report: We had a light crowd onboard today as it seems that most of the fishermen it the harbor this morning opted for blackfish. A stop between the channels was short lived as the lack of fish prompted Rob to head south to the Shrewsbury Rocks. He mentioned that there would be fish there, but that they would prove difficult to catch, and as usual, he was right. We arrived just after 9:00 AM to a sky filled with working birds and the fish swirling on top of the water as they chased the large sandeels to the surface. They were difficult to catch as the majority of the fares soon found out, but they are catchable. I fished hard today for 8 bass, with 3 being keepers, one of which drained the pool. We left them biting with the birds still in the air @ 1:30. Hopefully they will settle down and the bite should be on. Tight Lines! TINKNOCKER
