Poco loco (157.130.113.102) from TEXAS says flatscat
I have owned a flats cat and was not very happy with its performance. It was one of the wettest boats of its size that i have ever run and only performs well in no chop. The other main problem I found was hull quality, mine started to crack on the port side just bellow the gunwale. I have also talked to one other fellow who had similar hull problems. On a positive note, they do run pretty skinny. Mine ran in about 4 inches and got up in around 12 inches. It dosent take alot of motor to push them either, I ran a 130 on mine and it did ok. Now i have a 21 shallow sport that i couldent be happier with, its a hell of a hull.
