I use it just like real ballyhoo, most of the time behind a lure (Islander or Alien) It seems to catch about anything that will hit a regular bait. Surprise catch was a really nice cobia. Biggest advantage is when you can't take frozen bait with you. I have never targeted king fish with it, but if you fish with frozen ballyhoo, give it a try. Try the 'glo' blue.
