Probably just a bit too early for the stripers but you should be able to get weakfish and fluke inshore (don't know when the fluke season ends anymore, they been changing things so much lately). Nearshore should be getting bonitos, false albacore, skipjacks and bluefins, along with small dolphins if its a good year. Bluefish always. Best bet is tunafish in the canyons, we'll still have good weather,(real unpredicatable, snotty stuff usually starts shwing up in mid october/november depending on weather/hurricanes)and night bite should be going strong for Albacore and Yellowfins. Stripers are the biggest guess, depends on when the bunker start schooling up and heading down the shore. AC is a little south of me in the Sandy hook area but should basically hold true. Maybe someone from down in south jersey can better answer you. If your shore bound, then its most likely blues weaks and fluke with occasional forays by false albacores into the shoreline and stripers only at night, or early, early morning. Hope it helps.
