  1. Vibrio from TEXAS says Sorry to say
We had one guide offering that service, but he went from no time to doing time.

  2. Hedog (143.166.224.133) from TEXAS says Kris Kelley "Doin' time"
The "looser" guide doing time for the unlawful chasing of ducks in his airboat is Kris Kelley of Coastal Waterfowl.

  3. Say It Ain't So (64.12.96.7) from TEXAS says Come On Now,
    If That's True.............

Thanks for keeping my name "out there". However, I leave the running to the lollypops, too much at stake. Instead, we hunt harder and smarter. We are in a "full moon, fair weather, zero pressure lock down" right now. Everything from deer, hogs, ducks, you name it, are feeding at night and laying up during the day time.

The front coming tonight and tomorrow am may break the cycle. Right now, duck hunting sucks badly. Fairly good numbers of ducks but they will not move or they move in huge herds that will not decoy. They are doing this because they want to raft, sleep, and rest during the daytime on this moon.

Today, my party hunted from shooting light am with an hour break for lunch and an hour break for fishing then hunted until shooting light pm for their limit of Pintails and three Redheads (feet out in the decoys). If I ran ducks, we would have had that before I got the boat parked. My customers have very clear instructions that there is to be no shooting until I am present in the blind.

At this level, some things are beyond our control. When ducks don't fly and fish don't eat, there is simply no way to compensate except to break the law and that is not an option. With fish, you could at least fish at night. When duck hunting is tough, you have to be in the right place at the right moment and take what mother nature gives you. Then, you take that like a man. If my party had whined, even slightly, they would have been back at the ramp in a hurry. Instead, they "duck hunter uped" and did the work, put in the time, and achieved some reward. Winners do what loser won't.

    Double K

Could be that they are "herding" instead of flocking. Once they return to flocking, it should get back to being world war III. LOL
