I note your post on the other site that gives the status of the permit. I quote from you "The CORPS sent me 7 more letters to answer in 30 days. They come from The TCEQ, TPWD, EPA, NMFS, and a 23 page letter from FWS. I would give you all a big laugh, but there are to many pages to post. NMFS said No permit, EPA said No Permit, TPWD who dredged the passes in 87 and 95 said No Permit, NMS, is way out of line with there 23 page letter. We will answer these letters. Throw what they may, I will keep moving forward. I will not quit, and one way or another I will get that permit. I will keep you posted. Thanks again everyone, and keep the faith. Lynn"
I firmly believe in my heart of hearts that the pass should be opened and done permanently. That said, however, it stands no chance at all with the likes of you at the helm to get it done. Sad. About the only thing you can hope for now is a dead hit of a massive storm that will open the pass for a few years.
