SUBJECT: What color Assassin?

Submitted by The Old Man (209.116.76.128) from TEXAS on

What color of Bass Assassin do you guys like for trout? I like Opening Night best (sort of a pearlescent light blue), but have alos done well on Chartreuse glitter and salt-and-pepper backs.

Whaddya say?

  1. Hard Head from TEXAS says Favorite All Around Color is Firetiger. nm
    nm

  2. waterspout from TEXAS says Goosetreuse or white with dip
    .

  3. Bill W. from TEXAS says Pumpkinseed w/ chartreuse tail
I never leave home w/o some...

  4. Ranger Bob from TEXAS says Bass Assassins.
RED shad, red shad, red shad, pumpkin seed with colorite dipped tail, limetreuse, alewhite w/chartreuse tail and morning glory.

In that order.also with garlic scent.

  5. Jedi (66.25.34.63) from TEXAS says Limetreuse, Red Shad, Glow - nm
    nm

  6. The Driver. from TEXAS says Try the good side of life.
    To The Old Man.

Switch over to Norton Sand EEls. Throw that good old Tequila Gold.

  7. Plastigator (63.203.49.138) from TEXAS says Drive this
I would rather throw a cat turd than use anything made by that arrogant vindictive foul mouthed Bob Norton. There's too many other options than to patronnize a selfserving ashhole.

  8. Ranger Bob from TEXAS says Plastigator that was pretty straight forward. LMAO
I now have absolutely no doubts about how you feel.LMAO again !

    Ranger Bob

  9. Assassinator (199.44.170.9) from TEXAS says Ha Ha! What Plastigator said!
He's right. I have also seen his mouth at work. A very foul individual if you don't bow to his over stuffed belly and ego.

Those baits are best suited for sack dragger "guides" who can be bought for 5 pounds of plastic a year. Lying faker loosers like Chris Martin who spam up the world saying "we caught our biggest fish today on Habenero Sand Eels" when in reality he had 20 dozen croaker on his boat and nary the first jig head. You are the company you keep, and they sure make a cute couple!

Plastigator, I think I'll pass on your suggestion and just keep using Assassins. Same color as your cat turds though, Morning Glory. LMAO!!!!

  10. Ranger Bob from TEXAS says Sack draggin guides ! rotflmao.
B&L knock offs is really what they are.

    Ranger Bob

  11. Retirement Home Stud (152.163.188.3) from TEXAS says this weekend
I snuck out of the home and waded into West Bay. I caught my first 8 of 13 trouts on the same TTK plastic lure. That would have never happened with a bass ass.I can't afford thos bass asses they tear up to easy. I got laid twice when I got home with my limit of trouts.

  12. trouttac (152.163.100.6) from TEXAS says bass assassins
i just went out and got some saltwater assassins with my last few bucks someone told me bass assassins but i guessed they where the same thing there the ones with the long 1 tail on them. so anyways my question is do they work the same and my colers where morning glory/chart tail, chart whit with red tail, and all morning glory will any of these work in the bay just as good as bass assassins

  13. Txtrout (71.113.241.189) from TEXAS says Trout Lures
The bass assassins are good lures but something way better in my opion and more durable are the norton bull minnows and norton sand eels

can't go wrong with norton products

  14. r.w.burns (75.91.84.247) from FLORIDA says bass assassin
weve used these lures for so many years now that for me to say they are amazing is a poor understatement. its a family run buisness and they will do anything to help.my color for trout in the 5 inch shad is salt n pepper or rainbow trout.
