SUBJECT: East Matagorda

I would like to take a trip to East Matagorda Bay. I live in Tomball. Whats the best route to take and whats the best place to launch.Is Caney Creek the best and closest place to launch. I'm trying to make the drive time as short as possible. Thanks.

The place is called Linda's. Also on your way out there is a guy by the name of Jack M. who is a vary grumpy old man. Just don't drive to close to his pier and you will be alright.He's a old Hermit that talks to birds.If you know what I mean! You know one who is short of a full deck! I think he is part of that PETA group.So Good luck.Oh one more thing if you have empty cans on your way in from fishing,just set them on his pier. We all kinda just ignore him you know.He was once the master of all when it came to crabs.Not the kind that get in your draws.I mean the kind you boil and eat.I bet if you leave him empty can the old man might share some of his good old bait soaking honeyholes. -
