Actress/Artist/Angler Jane Seymour Showing her Art with Auction at Mercury/Cheeca Redbone Celebrity Fishing Tournament

Special guest of honor at famed Fla. Keys tournament for CF research

ISLAMORADA, In the Florida Keys — Emmy award winning actress and acclaimed artist Jane Seymour, will be the special guest of honor at a limited seating reception, gourmet dinner and auction of her art works during the 14th Annual Mercury Outboards/Cheeca Redbone Celebrity Fishing Tournament.

The Nov. 2 – 4 weekend events, a fund-raiser for cystic fibrosis research, will include the special Saturday, Nov. 3 evening event at Pierre’s Restaurant MM 82.5 bayside, beginning at 6 p.m.

An art preview and champagne reception with Ms. Seymour will begin the evening followed by a five-course dinner and then the auction of her works.

Tickets are limited to 100 people at $500 per couple, which is tax deductible. Several of the other celebrities fishing in the Mercury/Cheeca Redbone are expected to attend the evening as well.

Ms. Seymour’s artwork has been displayed at such international exhibitions as the Guggenheim Museum in NY in 1996, the “Angels” traveling exhibition in 1999 in Japan; Art 21, Las Vegas in 2000 and the Escada Boutiques, Moscow, Berlin and Dallas during 2000.

The evening’s auction will include original artwork of Ms. Seymour along with limited edition lithographs, watercolors and prints.

Ms. Seymour’s love for art began at an early age. Her discovery and inspiration of works by Matisse, Chagal and Dufy helped her emerge to become an accomplished, passionate painter.  She sketches and paints at her Malibu, Calif. studio, on movie sets and on her travels.  Landscapes and flowers are two of her favorite colorist expressions.

Her art can also be previewed at the Redbone Gallery in Islamorada.

Ms. Seymour gives through her artwork to charities, which help children in need such as the Redbone and its work with Cystic Fibrosis research efforts.

For more information and tickets please call Susan Ellis at the Redbone offices and Redbone Gallery in Islamorada at 305-664-2002.
