Eating blues From: Bill P (68.32.241.201), ALABAMA
People down here don't much like to eat bluefish. Maybe it's the warm water, but they are strong tasting. Blues are fun to catch and are excellent cut bait for red snapper and grouper. We seldom catch the big ones you guys have up east. Ours mostly run under five pounds. How do you cook 'em?

Blue Fish Recipe

1) Clean filets well 2) lay filets in a pan that you would bake in 3)get a stick of butter out and cut small pieces of butter along the filet about an inch apart 4) Get about 3 or 4 cloves of garlic and spread them across the top of the filets 5) slice about two onions and lay the slices down over the filets 6) then do the same with a tomato or two 7) Grab one or two lemons depedning on the sice of the filet and squeeze the juice over the filets 8) Pour some olive oil over the filets 9) sprinkle some italian seasoning along with a little salt and garlic powder 10) throw in the oven at 350 degrees for about 45 mins

Thats it kid! Tell me how it was. Bluefish is a hard fish but this is the way to do it! Trust me!
