Idea on school and Ossabaw Sound Report From: Kerry Taylor (162.39.237.227), GEORGIA
Eric, I went out on Sat the 19th through redbird creek. I didnt mark any fish until the mouth opened into the Inter coastal and the water dropped to around 35 feet. We dropped everything we had down to them but couldnt get them to bite. Headed out to the Ogechee and Ossabaw sound and produced the same results. Marked fish around the 35 foot range but couldnt get em to bite. Did get one solid stike on a 1/2 ounce gold spoon while jigging on the edge of the channel. I had the same thought that the schools could be trout, but im just not totally convinced because they are usually aggressive toward a live pinfish/mullett. Keep me informed of the latest reports. Thanks.
