| 100 Trout From: bill (24.175.10.68), TEXAS It just sickens me to think that all of the newbies you are taking out have to KEEP ALL of these trout. What a waste. 100 trout a day adds up pretty quick -- and for what? Can't be because specks taste so good - they taste like MANY other species of fish - croakers,whiting,sand trout - but you won't see anyone keeping these fish for dinner - they all want specks- mainly for bragging rights. Pathetic. Good example: at the rocks today in galveston. I saw these two guys fishing. Throwing back HUGE whiting - but they kept the 3 smallish red's they caught. What gives? People are worried enough about impressing other people with their clothes, cars and jewelry - now they got to impress with their stringers. Sad. Guides need to really enforce catch and release. Hell - that would make a good law. All guides = catch and release.
