| 61st pier From: aztecfisherman (98.199.68.226), TEXAS fished the 61st street pier on galveston seawall sat.,from 9pm,till 4am.caught one small drum,and tons of hardheads.used live shrimp,dead shrimp,and squid.water was in descent shape.pier was packed with people no doubt who had read reports (False),of all the GREAT fishing.why do they feel the need to decieve people? i've been fishing most of my 40 something years ,and have NEVER seen alot of anything good caught off that pier.yet they claim the fishing is good.don't be fooled.surf ,slp,or seawolf park are better bets.good luck and tight lines!
