| Hoggs Inlet From: Brandon Allen (66.233.161.77), NORTH CAROLINA Mith, Just wanted to say thanks for the reports. Its hard to find alot of info about the Cherry Grove area as far as fishing is concerned. I have fished Hogs inlet for many years, but never with a boat. I have recently purchased a 21ft Carolina Skiff and I was wondering if you could get into the ocean via Hogs inlet. I have spoken with a few people about this, and I can't seem to get good information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Yes you can go through the mouth but you have to be careful to stay in the channel. You have to stay close to the island on the left and then angle to the right towards the pier for a good ways.
