Braided line From: Shelby (64.12.116.79), NEW JERSEY
I feel so sorry for the Mates on Head boats nowdays. Not only do they have to deal with alot of Knucklehead Fisherman, but now they have to untangle Braided Line. 80 Fares on a Mackeral boat.....fishing deep... "I think I`ll use my Spinner with 40 pound Kevlar Line !!!!!" Aside from Fluking(fast drift),or Tilefishing...what other use is there for Fireline? I fish with a guy who does well with Taug using Kevlar...he "swings" all the time, and foulhooks a lot of Bergall too!! Too much sensitivity is not a good thing either!

Benefits of Braided Line From: John (69.72.93.140), DELAWARE
Just as the liberals and moderates find fault with guns instead of with criminals, and want to take away your right to bear arms, so too do they want to ban braided fishing line because some fishermen don't know how to fish with it, or because those poor mates have a hard time untangling. Shouldn't you lay the blame at the captain letting 80 fares onboard instead? Just think of all the carbon-based fuel he burns getting them to those barren wrecks that all those mean commercial boats wiped out last night for those wealthy diners onshore? Why not have saltwater licenses for only those using braided line or too many hooks too!
