I don`t care if there are Porgies to be caught, Spinners should be left at home on those "way out" trips!

An 8 foot "Meatstick"....40 Pound Clear Ande on a Penn 113H with a 16 ounce Dipsey and Hooks of choice would be my weapons. Then again, I usually spend more time with a Big Jig with Red Tube above it...going for the one!!

It is a shame to spend that kind of money and find you are fishing with as-holes. Spinning poles don't make it. The capt. or mates should give them boat rods and tell them NO SPINNING....
